Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with a 10,000sqm facility in Darwin, Northern Territory and a group of partner companies across South East Asia, we can support projects anywhere in the Asia Pacific region.
Our goals
We understand the risk of ignition sources in potentially explosive atmospheres, and we’ve made it our mission to control them. We deliver a range of products and services designed to protect people, preserve assets and improve productivity in hazardous areas.
As part of the Elemera group, at Safehouse we believe in community – we aim to create positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes in the areas in which we operate. We employ local people, use local supply chains, support community organisations, and seek meaningful long-term relationships with Australia’s First Peoples.
Safehouse is always striving to improve how we operate. Whether through enhanced equipment, better training, further compliance or faster response, we’re continually looking for ways to improve.
Safehouse Australia
Safehouse was established in Australia in 2010. On our first major project, we undertook 27 months of continual work on a major hook up and commissioning project in the oil and gas industry – offshore in northwest Australia. Our name soon became synonymous with safe and productive working practices, and we have since worked on almost every major oil and gas production facility in the country including fixed platforms, FPSOs, FSOs, semi-submersibles, FLNGs and onshore processing facilities across WA, NT, QLD, VIC and NZ.
Outside of oil and gas, our services are used across the petrochemical industry and defence sectors, and we have a range of products specifically designed to meet the requirements of the fast-developing hydrogen production industry.
In August 2021, the Australian team successfully completed a management buyout of the Australian and Asia Pacific business units from Starn Group, UK.
Safehouse Asia Pacific
Safehouse has been supplying its products and services to the South East Asian market since 2005. To this day we maintain a strong market presence in the region through our partner network in Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. Safehouse is able to participate in projects throughout Asia using this network, with full technical support from the Australian business.
